Location: University of Scranton (Scranton, PA)

Expertise presented during the training will help develop:

  • A leadership mindset for our educational mission and vision
  • A leadership lens for advancing school culture, curriculum, instruction, assessment and strengthening systems and structures to support growth
  • A leadership voice for hiring, managing and inspiring a high-performing team and communicating with external stakeholders
  • A leadership heart that drives purposeful education in the best interest of our students

Target Participants: Training is intended for new principals, assistant principals; veteran principals and assistant principals looking to energize their leadership; faculty members who have demonstrated potential and interest for more extensive leadership responsibility and may be on a trajectory for a leadership position in the school.

Cost: $350 per participant from a member school. Includes room in an on-campus apartment complex; all meals from Monday lunch through Friday breakfast; and all sessions and materials for the week. Travel to Scranton is the responsibility of the member school. The Scranton-Wilkes Barre airport is the closest airport. Bus transportation is available from New York City to Scranton.

Presenters: Sessions will be designed and tailored specifically to the educational mission and model of member schools in the NativityMiguel Coalition. Training will be conducted by leaders in NativityMiguel member schools.
